By distance
How far is it, actually
Every project and every landmark below has a coordinate from OneMap, Singapore Land Authority’s official gazetteer, and every distance is calculated between the two. Nothing here is “a short walk”, “minutes away” or taken from a marketing brochure.

37 of the 57 projects on this site do not yet have a verified coordinate and are excluded from every distance page — mostly the pipeline sites with no gazetted address yet. Each page says so. A count without its denominator would be the one thing worse than not publishing these pages at all.
Distances are great-circle (straight-line) between building coordinates. For schools that is the definition MOE uses. For everything else it is a lower bound on the walk, and the pages say so rather than converting it into a walking time nobody measured.
MRT stations26
Straight-line, so always shorter than the walk. A canal, an expressway or a fenced boundary can turn 600 metres into a fifteen-minute detour.

primary schools5
The measure that counts for Primary One registration: MOE defines the 1 km and 2 km categories as straight-line distance between home and school, which is exactly what is calculated here.
shopping malls9
Everyday convenience — the thing most buyers under-weight at viewing and feel every week afterwards.
bus interchanges5
Where the MRT does not reach, an interchange is the difference between one bus and two for a large part of the island.
Why some bands are missing
A wider band is only published when it contains a project the narrower one did not. Where the same projects fall inside 500 m, 1 km and 2 km of a landmark — which is common in a city this dense — one page is published rather than three identical ones. Three URLs carrying the same list would be three copies of one page, and Google is right to treat that as what it is.
A landmark with no project inside 2 km gets no page at all. There are 69 landmarks here and 45 pages, and the gap between those two numbers is deliberate.
